Penn State DT Devon Still Could Be a Possibility for Seahawks

When the NFL Combine starts tomorrow, it may be worth keeping an eye on a certain big man from Penn State. Several experts have mocked Devon Still to the Seahawks at 12, including Rob Rang at CBS Sports, and there are several reasons to believe that he’d help improve Seattle’s offensive line.

Mike Mayock had this to say about Still:

Probably four or five will go in the first round. Devon Still has a great body, a great skill set. He helped himself this year but there is a consistency or lack of consistency factor that he’s got to work on when he’s talking to scouts and coaches about his ability to show up on every snap.

Mayock also says that defensive tackle is the deepest position in the draft, with as many as seven players getting a potential first round grade. This could allow Seattle to wait on selecting a DT until later in the draft.

Still is listed at 6’4", 310 pounds and he recorded 55 tackles and 4.5 sacks for the Nittany Lions last season. He’ll certainly be one to watch for Seahawks fans at this weeks combine.
