The Seattle Seahawks just missed out on the playoffs this past season and the team appears to be right on the cusp of the postseason. A strong showing at the 2012 NFL Draft would go a long way in achieving that goal. It seems like a new mock draft is out every day or so, and this latest update from SB Nation has the Seahawks going with a defensive lineman in the first round. Check it out.
12. Seattle Seahawks, Michael Brockers, DT/DE, LSU
Brockers might not look like the most obvious fit for the Seahawks, but they cannot pass on this kind of talent. Pete Carroll has a knack for getting the most of his players. He will find a way to utilize Brockers' natural talent.
This would definitely be a bit of a surprising pick, especially with there being multiple needs pressing on both sides of the ball, but there is no denying that Brockers could become a star at the next level with the proper coaching. He was a force in the SEC this past season.
