The Seattle Seahawks seem to be no worse for wear following their 28-7 victory over the New York Jets Sunday at CenturyLink Field. And no notable injuries is music to Seattle fans' ears as the Seahawks have been battling the injury bug over the last few weeks.
Seattle was without defensive lineman Clinton McDonald (groin) and Greg Scruggs (oblique) as well as LB K.J. Wright (concussion) who all missed Sunday's game with injuries. Additionally, G James Carpenter remained out, as he attempts to come back from his concussion.
Furthermore, there was some worry that Marshawn Lynch could be a bit hobbled after he added a wrist injury to his already existing back ailment and missed practice Wednesday and Thursday. But Beast Mode effectively squashed any doubts surrounding his health when he ran for 124 yards and a touchdown against the Jets.
Regardless, Seattle's bye week is clearly coming at a perfect time as this team looks to get prepared for a run at an NFC wild card.
