Despite a disappointing loss to the Detroit Lions last Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks are listed as 5-point favorites for their clash with the Minnesota Vikings in Seattle in Week 9. The over/under for the Week 9 matchup is currently listed at 38, down 1.5-points from where it opened, according to OddsShark.com.
Seattle (4-4) opened as 2.5-point favorites but the line has since shifted at most sportsbooks. The Seahawks are coming off a 28-24 loss to Detroit in which their usually sound defense looked shaky, giving up 352 yards and three touchdowns to Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford.
The Vikings (5-3) were ousted 36-17 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday. The Vikings defense couldn't contain Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin, who rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 79 yards and a score as well.
Kickoff at CenturyLink FIeld is slated for 1:05 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on FOX.
