Seahawks vs. Lions 2012: Seattle leads Detroit 17-14 entering fourth quarter

After three quarters of play, the Seattle Seahawks lead the Detroit Lions by a score of 17-14.

Following a 14-point second quarter that gave the Seahawks a slim halftime advantage, both teams have been unable to find the endzone in the second half.

The Lions went on a lengthy drive in the third quarter that took up close to seven minutes, but it ended abruptly following an interception by safety Earl Thomas.

On the following possession, however, Russell Wilson was picked off by Ricardo Silva. Wilson is 18-25 for 142 yards, a touchdown and an interception so far.

Running back Marshawn Lynch has accumulated 90 yards on nine carries, but most of that production came on a 77-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter.

The Seahawks have been out-gained by their opponents in total offense, 318 to 258 yards. They have 15 first downs compared to Detroit's 17.
