The Seattle Seahawks have a chance to claim at least a tie for the NFC West lead with a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night, but they'll have their work cut out for them as they're currently 7-point underdogs, according to Oddsshark.com.
The over/under for Thursday night's battle is currently set at 38, according to SB Nation's NFL odds. The 49ers, fueled by the league's top rushing attack (176.8 yards per game), are averaging 25.3 points per game, while the Seahawks' sputtering-but-improving offense is averaging 18.3 points per game. Seahawks rookie quarterback Russell Wilson showed signs of being able to throw the deep ball in Week 6, finishing with 293 yards and three touchdowns as Seattle knocked off the New England Patriots in an upset.
The 49ers are coming off of a disappointing 26-3 loss to the New York Giants in Week 6.
Kickoff for Thursday night's game at Candlestick Park is scheduled for 5:20 p.m. PT, and the game will be televised on the NFL Network.
