The Seattle Seahawks' top-rated defense has a chance to prove it belongs among the elite when it faces Tom Brady and New England's high-powered offense on Sunday. The Seahawks lead the league in total yards per game allowed and yards per play allowed, while the Patriots are tops in yards per game on offense. Both teams are 3-2 and set to kick off at 1:05 p.m. PT on CBS.
The San Francisco 49ers face the New York Giants in a rematch of the NFC Championship game on Sunday. The 49ers have been dominant on both sides of the ball. The Giants have used a high-scoring offense to overcome costly mistakes and defensive lapses. Kick off is set for 1:25 p.m. PT on FOX.
Elsewhere around the NFC West, the Cardinals and Rams are both in action Sunday. Arizona takes battles the Buffalo Bills at 1:05 on CBS while the Rams head to Miami to meet the Dolphins at 10 a.m. on FOX.
The top-billed match-up of the week comes in the Sunday night game. The Packers and Texans face off, with 2-3 Green Bay desperate for the win. Houston is red-hot and off to a 5-0 start. That game is set for 6:20 p.m. on NBC.
Thursday night on NFL Network pits the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Tennessee Titans at 6:20 p.m., while the Monday night game features the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers at 6:30 p.m.
