The NFL Playoffs begin this weekend with the Wild Card Round. Eight teams will be in action to try to advance to the Divisional Round.

In the AFC, the Cincinnati Bengals will face the Houston Texans on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. PT. The game will be televised on NBC. The Bengals are seeking their first playoff victory in 21 years. This game will be a battle of rookie quarterbacks with the Bengals' Andy Dalton starting and the Texans' T.J. Yates expected to start.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Denver Broncos meet in the AFC's other Wild Card round match-up. Sunday's kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. PT; the game will be televised on CBS. The Steelers will be without starting running back Rashard Mendenhall who is out for the rest of the playoffs after tearing his ACL in week 17's game against the Browns.

In the NFC, the Detroit Lions face off against the New Orleans Saints on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. PT. The game will be televised on NBC after the Bengals-Texans game. Saturday's game will likely be the highest scoring of all four Wild Card match-ups. The Saints come in averaging 34.2 points per game while the Lions are averaging 29.6 points per game.

The Atlanta Falcons take on the New York Giants in the NFC's other Wild Card game on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. PT. FOX will cover the game. Giants defensive end Justin Tuck took a shot at the Falcons' offensive line on Wednesday ,citing the unit's "dirtbag" reputation. Fans should expect a close game with solid offense on both teams.
