NFL Pro Bowl 2012: Seahawks Players Will Be Represented In Hawaii

The 2012 NFL Pro Bowl takes place on Sunday, January 29 when All-Stars from the AFC and NFC will square off at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii.

The Seattle Seahawks did not have their 2011 season go the way they had hoped, but the team will be well-represented at this year's Pro Bowl. Superstar running back Marshawn Lynch was named to the NFC team and will play alongside Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears and starting RB LeSean McCoy of the Philadelphia Eagles. Lynch will be taking handoffs and pitches from one of a number of NFC quarterbacks, including starter Aaron Rodgers and backups Drew Brees and Cam Newton.

On defense, the Seahawks will be championed by cornerback Brandon Browner and starting free safety Earl Thomas.

This is a big honor for the Seahawks players and one last chance to show the nation the standout players that Seattle fans were treated to all season long.
