Seahawks Sign Free Agent DE Anthony Hargrove

The Seattle Seahawks are still making moves with less than 48 hours to go from the kickoff of their 2011 campaign, signing free agent and former Philadelphia Eagle defensive end Anthony Hargrove.

Hargrove broke the news himself per se via his Twitter account:

And upon further investigation, NFL Network's Jason La Canfora found that Hargrove is all ready to go for Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers as well:

Hargrove was signed to the Eagles after the lockout was lifted but was let go as part of their final roster cuts. The eight year veteran was also was part of the New Orleans Saints 2010 Super Bowl team, bringing a winning mindset to the team, likely serving a mostly backup role for the season.
