Zach Miller Visiting Seattle, Seahawks Interested In Raiders' Tight End

Zach Miller is reportedly in Seattle on Monday, visiting the Seahawks during his free agency tour. Miller is more than intriguing for Seahawks fans and the reaction to the news he was visiting Seattle was overwhelmingly positive. If he does decide to sign with Seattle, Miller would immediately add another valuable weapon to the passing game, giving Tarvaris Jackson a big target in the middle of the field. You'd think the Seahawks would be interested.

The Seahawks are interested according to ESPN's John Clayton, who left this cryptic message on Twitter, essentially telling the Raiders to be afraid.

Raider fans might have to worry about the visit of TE Zach Miller to Sea. The Seahawks are interested

Be very afraid, Oakland.

And there's no reason for Seattle not to take a liking to Miller. The fact he's in Seattle on Monday could already be read as a sign of the Seahawks interest, along with the other obvious reasons having to do with his skill on the field and the allure of a quality pass-catching tight end. It wouldn't be surprising at all if the Seahawks pulled the trigger and tried to sign him while he's on his visit.

And if Seattle does, it would certainly be a cause for celebration. Adding another weapon in the passing game, to go along with Mike Williams and Sidney Rice, is never a bad thing. If the Seahawks are looking to upgrade around the quarterback before chasing a young signal-caller next offseason, this is a way to do it.
