NFL Free Agency: Zach Miller Visiting Seattle Seahawks, According To Report

The NFL free agency period is still open, despite a lull in the action. Transactions came fast and furious as the free agency period opened last week, with many of the big names scooped up early. The Seattle Seahawks were among the teams active early in free agency and with many holes to fill, Seattle may not be done yet. In fact, as a new week begins at training camp in Renton, the Seahawks are reportedly bringing in Zach Miller in an effort to sign him.

According to Aaron Wilson, the Seahawks are hosting the former Oakland Raiders tight end.

Free agent TE Zach Miller is visiting the Seahawks today, per a league source.

Miller could make a fun addition to the Seahawks offense. When healthy, he adds another dimension to the offense, providing both bulk and a pass-catching presence from the tight end spot. His versatility, and ability to get out in the route, would be a solid addition anywhere, but especially in Seattle, where Miller could give Tarvaris Jackson a nice safety net early on.

Obviously it's just a visit, but keep an eye on Miller as free agency continues. We'll be back with more as it becomes available.
