Seattle Seahawks free agent linebacker Lofa Tatupu is gaining interest from multiple teams. One of the teams highest on his list? The Oakland Raiders. And according to reports, the talented linebacker will be paying Oakland a visit.
Tatupu, 28, has been in the league for seven years after being drafted out of USC. He has been a starter for Seattle most of that time, including a monster rookie season. Durability is not a concern seeing he has appeared in 84 of the 96 games he has been eligible for. In 2010, Tatupu played in all 16 games and recorded 88 tackles, a sack and an interception.
Former Seahawks LB Lofa Tatupu is visiting the Oakland Raiders today.
Tatupu would be a valuable addition to the Raiders linebacking core and could help improve a defensive unit that has recently dealt with multiple players leaving in free agency. He will likely have multiple suitors on the free agent market, but Tatupu's visit to the Raiders can only mean he is seriously considering joining the silver and black.
