Seahawks Draft Picks 2011: All Seahawks Rookies Have Signed With Team

The Seahawks wasted little time in locking down the last of their draft picks on Friday. OT James Carpenter and OG John Moffitt both signed yesterday to round out the group of nine rookies selected in this year's draft that are now under contract and participating in training camp.

Per Brian McIntyre, under the new CBA, teams are given an allotment to spend on rookies -- called the "Year One Rookie Allocation," and the Seahawks commitment sits between $4.643 and $4.933 million -- and that's for all rookies combined. This number is easily manageable for the club was one of the main items the owners pushed for in the CBA negotiations.

For those of you keeping track at home, Lazarius "Pep" Levingston, a DE out of LSU selected in the 7th round, was the first Seahawks rookie to sign a deal with the team. He was followed by S Mark LeGree out of Appalachian State and then on Thursday they were joined by WR Kris Durham, CB Richard Sherman, DB Byron Maxwell, and LB Malcolm Smith. By Friday, all rookies were present and accounted for.

The only numbers I've seen so far are, again, per Brian MacIntyre: Kris Durham with a4 year, $2.504M deal ($464,260 signing bonus) and Mark LeGree with a 4 year, $2.218M deal ($178,532 signing bonus).
