K.J. Wright Signs With Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have signed fourth round pick K.J. Wright. The linebacker, who comes in at 6'4, 250 pounds, signed earlier today and will join the team in the near future.

Danny O'Neil broke the news with this tweet:

#Seahawks have signed LB K.J. Wright. OT James Carpenter and OG John Moffitt are team's only remaining unsigned picks.

Wright will come to camp and compete for playing time immediately, but he'll likely need quite a bit of time to adjust and develop before seeing any real time on the field. The 24-year old linebacker was a team captain his senior year at Mississippi State and played in 34 consecutive games.

No official details of the contract have been released, though that will likely change in the near future.

Welcome to the Seattle Seahawks, K.J.
