The kickers, offensive linemen and tight ends hit the field at the 2011 NFL Combine on Saturday, taking part in the battery of combine tests and drills in front of scouts from every NFL. On Sunday, the main event of the combine takes place, with the offensive skill players working out at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Cam Newton, Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert lead the quarterbacks out, with all the top-flight prospects except Gabbert participating in all the test.
In addition to the quarterbacks that will likely capture the spotlight, Julio Jones, A.J. Green and the top wide receivers are set to show off their speed and agility, racing for the fastest 40-yard dash, shuttle and three-cone drill times. With plenty of speed to go around, the 40-yard dash on Sunday should be the marquee event of the combine.
Here's the schedule of events for Saturday, which includes the skill position workouts and measurements for a few other groups from the NFL Combine website.
