NFL Combine 2011: Video Of Jake Locker's Meeting With The Media

Jake Locker met with the media as part of the NFL Combine festivities on Friday, answering questions ranging from his baseball career to his professional prospects. Locker is under heavy scrutiny at the combine as scouts try to figure out how he'll project at the NFL level while measure how much his mechanics have improved since the Senior Bowl. Locker was a top-flight draft prospect after his junior year at Washington, but decided to return for his senior season, leading the Huskies to a Holiday Bowl win over Nebraska.

Here's video of his press conference on Friday, provided by CBS Sports.

Locker has plenty of chances to impress in the next few days, sitting down with teams during the interview process before taking the field for the standard combine workouts. Locker will run the 40-yard dash, participate in the jumping drills, run the shuttle and go through a variety of throwing drills in front of scouts from every team.

The quarterbacks hit the field on Sunday in what is the most interesting workout session of the combine. Locker, Cam Newton and Ryan Mallett plan to fully participate in the workouts, with only Blaine Gabbert electing to sit out.
