The San Francisco 49ers are rolling to the 2012 NFL Playoffs after a decisive beatdown of the Pittsburgh Steelers. They now are two wins away from a first-round bye and the second seed in the NFC. Two more wins against divisional foes will do the trick.
The Seattle Seahawks are still technically alive for the NFC race. But they have a lot of catching up they need to do, as they trail both the Atlanta Falcons and the Detroit Lions for the final wild-card spot. However, they have been playing solid football these past few weeks.
The Seahawks are 1.5 to three point underdogs according to Oddsshark. You might wonder why the 49ers aren't rated higher? Well, San Francisco is playing in Seattle, which has one of the best homefield advantages in the NFL. Seattle is fighting for their playoff lives, and San Francisco is already in. The 49ers want that #2 seed, but it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they lost it. Seattle knows they still have a lot to play for, and they'll try and use that to their advantage against San Francisco.
