The Seattle Seahawks overwhelmed the Chicago Bears in the second half, and much of it has had to do with the ineffectiveness of Caleb Hanie. Hanie has posted a passer rating something near 30, completing under 44% of his passes and under five passing yards per attempt. It's been a really bad performance, even for a particularly bad Bears offense since Jay Cutler went down.
And he punctuated this game with a totally forced pass into coverage. Brandon Browner was ready to make him pay for his mistake and finish off this victory.
The Seahawks win another game, and they're still alive for the NFC playoffs. As are Hanie and the Bears, although I get the feeling that the prospects on one sideline are grimmer than on the other after this result.
