Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and defensive end Red Bryant made some serious noise in the third quarter against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field, each scoring a crucial touchdown as the Seahawks vault ahead to a 21-14 lead after three quarters of play.
Marshawn Lynch notched his second touchdown of the afternoon early in the third, capping off a 5 play, 80-yard drive with a three yard scamper for six. He now has 34 yards on 16 carries for the afternoon.
As for Red Bryant, he managed to wrap his mitts around an errand Caleb Hanie pass, returning it 20 yards for his first career NFL touchdown to give the Seahawks a 21-14 lead. Steven Hauska hit a 33 yard field goal to make it 24-14.
Tarvaris Jackson has improved as the afternoon has gone on, completing 12/22 of his passes for 180 yards.
