Not a whole lot of offensive action between the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys in this first quarter down in big D, as a pair of field goals represents the only scoring thus far this afternoon, with a 3-3 tie through the first quarter at Cowboys Stadium.
Both teams got going with some long drives, but couldn't get into the end zone in the first 15 minutes. A 20 yard Dan Bailey field goal gave the Cowboys the lead early, though Steven Hauschka tied it up with about four minutes left in the period with a beautiful 45 yarder of his own. Tarvaris Jackson couldn't get much of anything going in the first quarter though, going only 3 for 6 for 23 yards, though Marshawn Lynch is off to a decent start, carrying the ball five times for 24 yards, including a nine yard burst.
It's looking like it's going to be a grind of a game, so get comfy, and get your popcorn ready.
