The Seahawks face some stiff odds this weekend when they travel down to Texas to take on the Dallas Cowboys as 12 and a half point underdogs. The odds seems pretty long considering the Seahawks are 2-5 and are facing a 3-4 Cowboys team, but when you look at some of the statistics the picture becomes pretty clear.

The Cowboys have the edge in points scored per game at 22.3 to only 15.6 for the Seahawks. The Cowboys pass for 279.6 yards per game to the Seahawks 206.3 and Dallas has the edge in rushing yards at 114.7 yards per game on the ground to Seattle's measly 77.7.

On defense, the teams are a little more evenly matched. The Cowboys give up 243.43 yards per game through the air to the Seahawks' 237.14. The Hawks give up 102.86 yards on the ground per game to Dallas' 93.86, but the Hawks have them bested on a per-carry basis, with a league best 3.2 ypc to Dallas' 4.0.

The over/under for the game is 42.5 points. For more on the game and an up-to-date line, make sure you go check out Odds Shark, with updated odds for every game this week.
