Seahawks Vs. Rams By The Numbers: Marshawn Lynch And Mike Williams Aid In Seattle Victory

The Seattle Seahawks and St. Louis Rams faced off on Sunday, and Seattle ended up coming away with the 24-7 victory. Their second win in a row.

After relying on the talented foot of Steven Hauschka in Week 10's upset over the Baltimore Ravens, the kicker was only called upon to boot one 19 yard field goal and two PATs.

The Seattle defense was able to effectively stop Rams rushers, whereas Marshawn Lynch led all running backs with 88 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. His average carry was only 3.3 yards, but he remained consistent throughout the game. Justin Forsett had the other rushing touchdown for Seattle, finishing with four carries for 31 yards.

Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson finished the day 14-for-24 with 148 passing yards, a touchdown and two interceptions, which were the only two Seahawks turnovers. Leading Seattle receivers were Mike Williams, with 62 yards on two catches, Doug Baldwin with 60 yards on three catches and Sidney Rice with 35 yards on three catches and the only Seahawks receiving touchdown of the game.
