Fantasy Football Projection: Start Marshawn Lynch

The Seattle Seahawks are brimming with confidence after taking out the Baltimore Ravens last week, and now must turn their focus to their NFC West rival St. Louis Rams. One of the keys to their success is the run game, most notably Marshawn Lynch, who according to numberfire.com will have himself a decent enough a game to garner a start this wek for your fantasy squad.

Numberfire currently has him projected to earn 13.45 points this Sunday, gaining around 85 yards on 18 carries along with a couple of receptions, with a 0.7 TD percentage, which essentially means he has a 2/3 chance at scoring a touchdown. The Rams defense isn't exactly strangling opposing team's running backs as they currently sit dead last in rushing yards allowed at around 150 a game, which bodes well for Pete Carroll's boys.

With the inconsistency of Tarvaris Jackson, I'd look for Marshawn to be very involved in the offense today, and should be a go in most leagues depending on your matchup.
