Much was made this past week about the effectiveness of the Seahawks no-huddle offense and Seattle wasted no time in going right to it. The Hawks went no-huddle and hurry up on their first drive, marching 80 yards down the field on 8 plays, culminated by a screen pass to Ben Obomanu for an 11-yard touchdown. Receiver Golden Tate had a great cut block downfield on the play to spring Obo for the score.
On the drive, both Marshawn Lynch and Zach Miller went out with minor injuries, but both returned to the game and both appear to be ok.
Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson went 5/7 for 64 yards and a toucdown on the drive. The Hawks only ran the ball once, a four yard scamper by Justin Forsett. Ben Obomanu led the way with 3 catches for 31 yards and the TD, and Sidney Rice added a 16 yard reception.
