Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, Week 8: Ben Obomanu, Justin Forsett, Leon Washington Possibilities

The Seattle Seahawks don't have many great fantasy football waiver wire options, especially with Marshawn Lynch injured. Wide receiver Ben Obomanu and running backs Justin Forsett and Leon Washington are decent possibilities.

The Seattle Seahawks are typically not a team you trust with fantasy options lately. Seattle is usually very erratic in terms of offensive production, and no one is really worth picking up unless you're absolutely certain they're ready to make things happen. The best option (if he's still out there) is probably wide receiver Ben Obomanu, who has been targeted 30 times this season and has two touchdowns to his name. If you really need a Seahawk, that's the guy to look at.

With Marshawn Lynch banged up (again), the running back situation isn't easy to analyze--no one really gets many carries or does much with them. Unfortunately, the Seahawks offensive line continues to be bad at everything, so it's very hard for me to trust either Forsett or Washington as reliable running back options. Washington is probably the better option because he generally gets more carries, catches passes out of the backfield AND returns kicks (if that makes a difference in your league).
