Seahawks vs. Browns Injury Report: Marshawn Lynch Scratched Due To Back Injury

Already coming into this game questionable with an ankle injury Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was scratched from their meeting with the Cleveland Browns after apparently injuring his back during warmups at Browns Stadium.

This is a big hit to an already struggling Seattle offense who will now have to go without starting quarterback Tavaris Jackson and all-pro tight end Heath Miller as well as Lynch, taking away a number a viable offensive options for Pete Carroll’s disposal.

Lynch came into the game with a two-game scoring streak, though his two punch-in touchdowns against the Giants and Falcons are his only TD’s of the season thus far. His carries have fluctuated week to week, but has been playing with this ankle injury for the majority of the season, undoubtedly slowing him down even if he won’t admit it. His game this year was Seattle’s win in New York over the Giants running for 98 yards on 12 carries including a touchdown.
