Seahawks Injury Report: Matt McCoy (Knee, Serious), Mike Williams (Concussion) & Others

The Seattle Seahawks suffered a host of injuries at critical positions, the most serious looking like it occurred to Matt McCoy. McCoy was carted off the field, and it's being reported as a serious injury. We'd have to guess that McCoy is either done for the season or out for an extended period of time.. This could open things up for Aaron Curry to stay in the lineup if he can also recover fully from the hip injury he sustained.

Christian Caple of the Seattle PI has the full report of Seahawks injuries.

  • Wide receiver Mike Williams was injured in the head early in the 4th quarter.  Head coach Pete Carroll reported that Wiliams suffered a concussion on Marshawn Lynch's touchdown run.
  • Linebacker Malcolm Smith suffered a hamstring injury. The rookie actually got some of his first reps this season playing in nickel defense formation.
  • Defensive end Anthony Hargrove also suffered a hamstring injury and left the Seahawks game early.
