As the Seattle Seahawks prepare for the Atlanta Falcons down in Hot-lanta, they will be without a few key players this Sunday, most notably the Chancellor of the ’hawks defense.
Strong safety and leading tackler Kam Chancellor will be inactive for the Seahawks today due to a deep thigh bruise he suffered last week against Arizona. Atari Bigby will start in his place, getting a lot of action on special teams this afternoon as well.
Quarterback Josh Porter, wide receiver Kris Durham, corner back Byron Maxwell, offensive guard Robert Gallery, offensive tackle Jarriel King, and defensive tackle Al Woods will all be out for Seattle this Sunday.
The Falcons will play without defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux and linebacker Stephen Nicholas, two very important starters in Atlanta’s struggling defense. Peria Jerry and Mike Peterson will take their spots in the starting lineup.
Also inactive for the Falcons this afternoon are cornerback Darrin Walls, running back Jason Snelling, center Brett Romberg, offensive guard Mike Johnson, and defensive end Cliff Matthews.
