Roddy White Injury Status: Receiver Will Reportedly Play

Jay Glazer is reporting that Roddy White "is fine" and will play today in Atlanta's matchup with the Seahawks after being listed as "Questionable" at the end of this week's practices. This comes as great news to a Falcons team that has been relying heavily on their pass game and are matched up against a team that defends the run well, in the Seahawks.

Glazer apparently got the news from Falcons' head coach Mike Smith, and in my opinion is one of the more accurate reporters in the business. This report makes sense too, considering that White made the trip out to Seattle.

The Seahawks secondary will have their hands full with Roddy White in action. They'll have to account for White, Julio Jones, Tony Gonzalez, and a bevy of other capable receivers. Matt Ryan will look to spread the love. Marcus Trufant and Brandon Browner will be starting at LCB/RCB and will get the lovely task of defending two explosive playmaking threats.
