Aaron Curry Traded? Pete Carroll Says Not Yet

Aaron Curry has been demoted and chastised by the Seattle Seahawks organization. He's been berated, cajoled, and criticized by Seattle Seahawks fans during his tenure with the franchise. So it made sense that he'd be on his way out of town to get a new start with an up-and-coming Oakland Raiders team that could use his services in the linebacking corps. Everyone gets a fresh start and we all move on with our lives.

Or not. Not yet at least. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk with the report.

“That isn’t final yet,” Carroll told Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan of SiriusXM NFL Radio’s Movin’ the Chains.  “It’s something that’s in the works and we’ll have to wait and see.  There’s still some stuff to be done to make that official. "

Oh, this is just delicious. Curry finally thinks he's about to leave. He finally thinks he's about ready to depart Seattle, a city that he's disappointed by his average to lackluster performance on the field. And then Coach Car-Troll decides, "You know what maybe not Raiders we like Curry where he is thanks bye!" Cruel if it ends out this way.

Or it's just a few more hours of Pete Carroll giving Aaron Curry a miserable time. That's how life has been for Aaron in Seattle.

To discuss the potential Curry trade, head on over to Field Gulls (Seahawks) or Silver and Black Pride (Raiders).
