NFL Playoff Schedule: Seahawks Vs. Saints Kickoff Set For 1:30 P.M. On NBC

It’s NFL playoff time in Seattle as the Seahawks battle the Saints at Qwest Field in the opener of the wildcard round on Saturday. The Seahawks and Saints hit the field at 1:30 p.m., live on NBC. Just before the Seahawks hit the field, retired left tackle Walter Jones will have the honors at Qwest Field, raising the 12th man flag in front of a rowdy Qwest Field crowd.

The Seahawks come into the playoffs with little chance of advance, should you believe the oddsmakers and pundits nationwide. Still, with a home game at Qwest against a battered Saints team, anything can happen. Matt Hasselbeck gets the start, bringing playoff experience to the table despite an inconsistent season in 2010.

The banged-up Saints give the Seahawks some hope for today’s matchup. Chris Ivory and Pierre Thomas both hit injured reserve this week, taking away two powerful runners from the New Orleans offense. Drew Brees is dangerous, as always, but has also been prone to mistakes, throwing 22 interceptions in 2010.

The Seahawks and Saints kick-off a doubleheader of NFL playoff action on NBC today at 1:30 p.m. Follow all the action throughout the game in our NFL playoff StoryStream.
