I don’t know how the Seattle Seahawks are getting this lucky, but whatever they’re doing is working. Thomas suffered an ankle injury that he will be unable to recover from in time to take the field in the playoffs.
The Seahawks, now facing a New Orleans team with a severely weakened rushing attack, keep catching breaks ahead of this Saturday’s playoff matchup. While Drew Brees is always dangerous, his job gets tougher with Reggie Bush and Julius Jones as the backfield tandem. Against the Seahawks, Ivory ran for 99 yards and a touchdown, while the rest of the run game stalled.
