NFL Playoff Schedule 2011: Jets-Steelers Game Time, Weather And More

New, 1 comment

The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears are underway at Soldier Field in the first of two games on NFL championship Sunday. Next up: the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh in the AFC Championship to cap the day. It all gets going on CBS at 3:30 p.m., following the NFC Championship.

On the call for the CBS is the “A-team” of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms. The two-man booth has called all the marquee games for CBS, including last weekend’s AFC divisional round game between the Jets and New England Patriots.

The weather is frigid in Pittsburgh again this weekend, with temperatures topping out at a frigid 15 degrees and dropping to as low as zero by the end of the day. No snow is in the forecast, but the relatively clear weather creates a cold environment, especially with a start time late in the day. Perfect weather for playoff football in Pittsburgh.

Tune-in to CBS at 3:30 for the final NFL playoff game of the weekend, with only the Super Bowl remaining on Feb. 6.
