NFC Championship Game: Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers Square Off On Sunday

The NFC Championship Game is set, with the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers battling for a trip to the Super Bowl next Sunday at Soldier Field. The Bears got there with a 35-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, winning the right to host the NFC Championship in Chicago as the highest remaining seed left in the conference. Green Bay was already in having easily defeated the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday.

Here’s the schedule and TV information for next Sunday’s game.

Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers at noon on Fox. Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Pam Oliver and Chris Meyers will have the call on the broadcast.

The NFC Championship Game will be the third time these two teams have met this season. Chicago won the first meeting in week two, 20-17, while Green Bay beat the Bears in week 17, 10-7.

Both the Packers and Bears are peaking at the right time, putting together strong performances in the playoffs. The Packers have gone on the road twice already, beating the Eagles in Philadelphia in the wildcard round and Falcons in the divisional round behind strong performances from Aaron Rodgers. The Chicago defense was solid for much of Sunday’s game against the Seahawks, but will have their hands full against Rodgers and the high-powered Green Bay offense.

The Packers and Bears, rivals in the NFC North, get it started with a Super Bowl berth on the line, next Sunday at noon on Fox.
