The Seattle Seahawks began the playoffs and 100/1 longshots to win the Super Bowl. Following an upset win over the New Orleans Saints, those offs have improved, though the Seahawks remain an overwhelming underdog to make, and win, the Super Bowl in February. It’s also interesting to note the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers both hold the same odds of winning the Super Bowl. Green Bay and Atlanta play this weekend for the right to advance to the NFC Championship, facing either the Seahawks or Chicago Bears.
Here are all the Super Bowl odds, from Bodog.
New England Patriots: 8/5
Atlanta Falcons: 11/2
Green Bay Packers: 11/2
Pittsburgh Steelers: 6/1
Chicago Bears: 8/1
Baltimore Ravens: 9/1
New York Jets: 12/1
Seattle Seahawks: 35/1
And here’s the odds of winning the NFC, also from Bodog.
Atlanta Falcons: 33/20
Chicago Bears: 2/1
Green Bay Packers: 21/10
Seattle Seahawks: 12/1
The Falcons, Bears and Packers are all grouped together, with the Falcons holding a slight edge. And then we have the Seahawks, well behind the rest of the pack in the NFC. With a losing regular season record, it’s no surprise, even with last weekend’s upset win.
The NFL playoffs roll on this weekend in the divisional round, beginning Sunday at 1:30 p.m. The Seattle Seahawks hit the field the next day, on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. For more on the Seahawks, follow our NFL playoffs StoryStream.
