Mike Williams Active, John Carlson Inactive For Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Mike Williams is active and will play against the Carolina Panthers Sunday afternoon at Qwest field. Williams, the favorite target of Seahawks' quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, sat out last week while dealing with a leg injury, along with the rest of the dings and bumps that come along with a season. He's back in action this week, and looked fine in warm-ups at Qwest Field. Having Williams back should be a huge positive for the Seahawks' passing game, giving Hasselbeck a big, sure-handed target on the outside.

The Everett Herald's John Boyle tweeted the full inactive list ahead of today's game.

The Seahawks will be missing the services of top tight end John Carlson against the Carolina Panthers. Carlson suffered a hip flexor injury earlier in the week and was questionable for this weekend's game. Without Carlson, Chris Baker and Cameron Morrah will shoulder the load at tight end.

The Seahawks and Panthers kick-off at Qwest Field at 1:15 p.m. on Fox.
