Buccaneers Vs. Seahawks: LeGarrette Blount Hurdles Lawyer Milloy And The Rout Is On

File this one under insult to injury. As he’s done many times this year, former Oregon, and current Tampa Bay, running back LeGarrette Blount made a defender look foolish, this time victimizing Seattle safety Lawyer Milloy. Blount hit the second level, saw Milloy drop his head and took the high road, leaping over Milloy en route to a 48-yard run.

The Buccaneers capitalized two plays later when Josh Freeman found Mike Williams alone in the back of the end zone for seven yards and the touchdown. The Tampa Bay drive lasted just three plays as the Bucs quickly moved 56 yards for the score. Blount’s run inched him closer to the century mark, putting him just four yards away from 100 on the day.

The rout is on in Tampa Bay as the Seahawks are unable to slow the Buccaneer offense. To make matters worse, the Seahawks look lost without starting quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, unable to move the ball anywhere.

In the fourth quarter, the Bucs lead the Seahawks, 31-7. For the Seahawks, at least there’s always next week.
