The Seattle Seahawks inactive list is out and there is one surprise. Starting right guard Stacy Andrews is inactive despite never being listed on the injury report this week. Andrews had started the last 12 games at right guard for the Seahawks. It appears Andrews was a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons at Qwest Field.
The Tacoma News Tribune's Eric Williams tweeted the full inactive list.
Hawks inactives: Walter Thurmond, Paul Fanaika, Breno Giacomini, Will Robinson, Stacy Andrews, Amon Gordon, Jay Richardson, J.P. Losman.
Walter Thurmond joins a bevy of offensive linemen on the inactive list. Fanaika, Giacomini and Robinson join Andrews as inactives on the line.
The good news for the Seahawks? Both Mike Williams and Ben Obomanu, previously sidelined with injuries, are active and ready to play this week. Williams, Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck's favorite target, should bolster a Seattle passing game in desperate need of a shot in the arm. Obomanu had been solid before suffering a serious hand laceration that forced him to sit last week against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Seahawks and Falcons take the field in Seattle at 1:15 p.m. on Fox.
