Mike Williams Inactive For Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Mike Williams, battling multiple injuries, is inactive for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Williams suffered a leg injury in a loss to the New Orleans Saints last Sunday. Williams was playing with stitches in his hand after dislocating a finger and injured his leg on a long catch early in Sunday's game against the Saints.

The Everett Herald's John Boyle tweeted the news from Qwest Field.

Williams has been a favorite target of quarterback Matt Hasselbeck through the first ten games of the season. Williams has caught 52 passes for 654 yards and a touchdown in 2010. Without Williams, the Seahawks will rely on Deon Butler, Ben Obomanu and Golden Tate. Tate, a rookie wide receiver out of Notre Dame, will make his return against the Chiefs after injuring his ankle against the Oakland Raiders.

The Seahawks battle the Chiefs at Qwest Field at 1:15 p.m. on CBS.
