Marshawn Lynch To Start For Seattle Seahawks Against Chicago Bears

Chris Mortenson is reporting on NFL Live that Marshawn Lynch will be the starter at running back for the Seattle Seahawks today against the Chicago Bears. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll refused to tip his hand this week, only saying that a starter would be named at game-time.

Lynch, who was recently acquired in a trade with the Buffalo Bills, is a power running back that should help bolster the Seahawks backfield. It’s likely Lynch and Justin Forsett will split carries, but Lynch should see plenty of time in short-yardage and goal-line situations.
