The NBA is coming back to Seattle on July 23 as past and former players from the area gather at Key Arena for a charity game put on by Hoops 206. The game is billed as "Seattle vs. The League" and will feature Spencer Hawes, Isaiah Thomas and many other Seattle-area players on the court in front of the home crowd. It's a chance for the city to come out and show its basketball pride and send a message to David Stern about the NBA in Seattle.

Tickets just went on sale for the event and can be found over at Ticketmaster. Head here, grab tickets and show up in your finest green and gold. Ticket prices range from $15 to $150, depending on where you plan on sitting at The Key.

More on the game can be found at the Hoops 206. The event is a perfect time to come out and see some of the hometown heroes that have played in, or are currently playing in, the NBA. We all know Seattle is basketball rich, and after three years with nothing in the way of NBA events, the city finally has a chance to show its support. It's up to us, as fans, to remind Stern and the league executives that we're still here, and still waiting for a team.
