VIDEO: Howard Schultz Book Signing Leaves Sonics Fans In The Cold

Adam Brown, producer of SonicsGate, was at the book signing for Howard Schultz's onward on Friday at Costco in Issaquah. The signing was seen as a prime opportunity for many Seattle Sonics fans to give Schultz a piece of their mind, or at least ask why he betrayed the city. Questions were, again, left unanswered and the protest left Sonics' fans out in the cold as police ushered Brown and others away.

Here's the video, captured by Brown. You'll see he quietly stands in line and waits his turn with the camera rolling. A man in front of him loudly asks Schultz why he betrayed the city and is carried away by the waiting police to shouts of protest, though it's quite mild. Brown is then asked to leave, as well, after doing nothing wrong.

The entire event was a public relations nightmare. Schultz had to know he wouldn't be welcomed with open arms as fans are still bitter about losing the Sonics. Even those quietly protesting by wearing Sonics gear or green and gold were turned away as Costco and security was on high alert.

From changing the time late to profiling and forcibly removing Sonics fans, it was an event to remember, but not for any of the right reasons.
