The Philadelphia 76ers are on the brink of elimination at the hands of the Miami Heat in the NBA playoffs and LeBron James had an analogy to share, comparing the series to breakfast. James felt closing the 76ers out in Game 5 of the series was like "finishing our breakfast" while comparing various players to different kinds of breakfast items. It was an odd analogy, to be sure, but it also left Spencer Hawes incredibly confused.
↵You see, Hawes just isn't a breakfast kind of guy and doesn't necessarily finish his morning meals. He may nibble on a muffin, take a bite of a bagel or have a half-glass of orange juice, but sometimes he's just not hungry. So in response to James, the 76ers center came up with his own confusing analogy (via Yahoo!)
↵↵↵"We not only took exception to the quote, but to the analogy," Hawes told Yahoo! Sports before Game 5. "A lot of times people don't finish breakfast. It's kind of one of those deals where you're not very hungry in the morning, and you might take a couple of bites to get you going, and then you roll out the door ... Not a great analogy, I don't think."

I have no idea what this all means, but I'm suddenly hungry.
