Play-by-play men become a part of the team they're covering and become fans just like the rest of it. As the Sacramento Kings played what was likely their final home game before relocating to Anaheim, fans packed Arco Arena to say goodbye. But the fans weren't alone in getting caught up in the emotional farewell. Grant Napier and Jerry Reynolds, the Kings' play-by-play announcer and color commentator, were charged with signing off once more, and said their own goodbyes.
↵It was an emotional and touching moment for the two, as well as the fans surrounding them and those listening at home. And it was hard not to get choked up as a sports fan and a fan that's seen a team taken from its city up-close and personal.

If that was the end, Napier and Reynolds went out with incredible class and should be praised for capturing the moment so well.
