NBA All-Star Game Halftime Show: Rihanna, Kanye West Hit The Stage At Staples Center

Just like the Super Bowl, it’s the halftime show that has everyone abuzz at the NBA All-Star Game. This year, after a “rousing” pregame performance by Lenny Kravitz and a classic performance of the American National Anthem from Josh Groban, the NBA will take got a bit more pop for the halftime show, enlisting Rihanna. But wait, there’s more. Kanye West is reportedly hopping into the mix, perhaps crashing Rihanna’s party. It’d only be fitting.

Forget Kobe Bryant dropping bombs, Chris Paul dishing-out dimes or LeBron James dunking, it’s all about Kanye tonight. The NBA knows how to put on a show, at least from a talent standpoint. The NBA's goal has been to turn All-Star Weekend into a place to see and be seen, attracting some of the biggest celebrities around. The halftime show, featuring two prominent artists, continues that trend as the league shows off in its biggest weekend of the year.

Which would you take? The NBA Halftime show or the Super Bowl halftime show? The Black Eyed Peas broke out one of the weirdest productions we’ve seen in a long time at Super Bowl XLV, leaving many shaking their heads. The NBA, however, went with some serious star-power and looks to be the hands-down winner. Now, if only Groban joined in on the fun, reading some Kanye West tweets.
