After splitting the first two games of the series with the Boston Red Sox, the Seattle Mariners are looking to close the set with a victory at Safeco Field Wednesday night.
Seattle will send out Kevin Millwood (4-12, 4.38), who is 0-4 with a 5.97 ERA over his last six starts. He hasn't faced Boston since 2010, posting a 2-1 record with a 3.13 ERA in his last five starts against them.
The Red Sox will counter with Aaron Cook (3-8, 5.35 ERA) who is 1-7 with a 5.67 ERA in his last 10 starts. His best outing this year so far has come against these Mariners after tossing a two-hit shutout on June 29.
First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. PT with coverage on Root Sports and 710 ESPN.
