The Seattle Mariners are officially on a roll. They picked up their second straight win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night, 7-2, to win the series and win their sixth straight game.

Dustin Ackley led off the home half of the first inning with his seventh home run of the year to stake Seattle to an early lead. Trayvon Robinson and Brendan Ryan had RBI singles in the third inning and Ackley added an RBI fielder's choice to make it a quick 4-0.

Brett Lawrie hit a two-run double in the top of the third inning to halve the Mariners' lead, but Ackley had another RBI fielder's choice in the fourth and Miguel Olivo hit a two-run single in the fifth.

Jason Vargas -- who wasn't traded before the deadline -- picked up his 12th win by going seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk.

The Mariners will go for lucky number seven and the sweep of Toronto on Wednesday.
