Shaquille Green-Thompson Still Worst Baseball Hitter Ever

A couple of days ago, everyone found out that UW recruit Shaquille Green-Thompson is one of the worst baseball players ever. Or at least his offense is terrible. And not to harp on a bad thing more as it is just the spectacle of how someone can strike out so often, since that little snippet was posted, he has struck out 10 times in a row.

10 times. In a row. Over the past two games Big Swing Shaq has gone 0-5 with 5 strikeouts each night. In 31 at bats, he now has 30 strikeouts. To put that into perspective, Ichiro Suzuki has struck out only 37 times this season - over the course of 383 at bats.

Thompson owns a strikeout percentage well north of 90%, which is clearly not major league caliber, nor is it probably sustainable. But it is alright, because as the consensus top safety prospect in the nation, while we all laugh as he shatters the strikeout record in the Gulf Coast League, Shaquille Green-Thompson will most likely laugh all the way to the Bank of the NFL.
