Mariners Vs. Royals Final Score: Seattle Loses Wild One In Kansas City, 8-7

Wednesday night's game between the Seattle Mariners and the Kansas City Royals was a real roller coaster. The Mariners trailed 7-3 before battling back to tie it, but a walk-off home run eventually handed the Royals the 8-7 win.

Kyle Seager hit a two-out home run in the top of the second inning to give the M's a brief 1-0 lead, but the Royals answered back with a three-run inning to go ahead.

Casper Wells hit a two-run homer in the top of the fourth to tie things up 3-3, but once again Kansas City answered right back, picking up two runs on an Alex Gordon double in the bottom of the fourth and making it 7-3 with a Lorenzo Cain home run in the bottom of the fifth.

Miguel Olivo hit an RBI single in the sixth and Jesus Montero added a two-run RBI single in the seventh to tie the game up once again. The Mariners bullpen held the Royals scoreless from the sixth through eighth innings, but Billy Butler led off the bottom of the ninth with a home run to left center field off of Josh Kinney to give the Royals the win.

The Mariners will still have a chance to capture the four-game series with a win on Thursday.
